The energy transition is in full swing.
Heat and electricity account for the largest share of societal energy needs.
Moving away from fossil fuels, striving for CO₂-neutral operations, reducing nitrogen emissions, and enabling seasonal energy storage present challenges that many green energy sources, such as solar and wind, cannot consistently meet, nor adequately compensate for the convenience of fossil fuels. This puts energy security, sustainability, affordability, and the achievement of globally set climate goals under pressure.
This executive program shows you how Metal Power Technology plays a key role in your pursuit of sustainability.
Made possible by:
The global energy transition calls for innovative, scalable, and safe solutions. One of these is the use of metals as a sustainable energy carrier, which has made significant technological advancements in recent years. Through various projects, its feasibility and applicability have become increasingly clear.
TU/e and Metalot have jointly established the Metal Power Technology (MPT) Academy. The MPT Academy focuses on accurately informing about the possibilities of the technology for government and industry. The program provides insight into the many benefits, solutions, and realistic application possibilities. This MPT pilot offers an introduction to Metal Power—a promising technology for energy storage and generation based on metal fuels.
This one-day program is specifically designed to inform, engage, and connect professionals who play an active role in the future of sustainable energy. Discover the future of clean energy: join the Executive Program on Metal Power Technology

Disclaimer: This edition is a pilot format to develop a multi-day program in the future. There are only a limited number of spots available, and therefore the organization reserves the right to make a selection.
For the pilot, we are looking for participants who work in 1) companies and 2) government in the field of sustainability, such as: those tasked with operating gas-free, unable to directly connect to hydrogen, needing to make high-temperature heat processes sustainable, or facing challenges with congestion and/or curtailment.
This program is particularly focused on the strategic deployment of Metal Power Technology and is suitable for policy/decision-makers such as:
