4. Objective
Stichting Metalot aims to promote a climate-neutral and circular economy by:
- Research into and development of metal fuel technology as a CO₂-free energy carrier.
- Building an open ecosystem of companies, universities and governments for knowledge sharing and collaboration.
- Increasing public support for sustainable energy solutions through education and communication.
All activities are focused on societal impact, such as CO₂ reduction, environmental improvement and knowledge dissemination.
5. Policy plan
The policy plan of Stichting Metalot for 2025-2027 focuses on:
- Scaling up metal fuel technology in projects aligned with the roadmap shared by the Metal Power Community.
- Shaping standardization and legislation for metal fuel technology.
- Coordination of collaborations within the ecosystem to make sustainable technologies more widely applicable.
- Organizing workshops, events and educational programs for students, companies and policymakers.
- Public dissemination of knowledge and results from research projects.
Stichting Metalot initiates and coordinates projects, but does not provide loans or investments to commercial parties.

7. Remuneration policy

- Staff: Stichting Metalot has no employees on payroll. All work is performed by volunteers or board members. Volunteers receive an expense allowance in accordance with the guidelines of the Tax Authority.
8. Financing
Stichting Metalot is fully funded by donations from individuals, companies and institutions that support our objective.
There are no commercial revenues, such as contract research, memberships or sales of services.
All donations are used exclusively for research projects, knowledge sharing and activities that contribute to a sustainable energy transition.
