The Interreg Flanders-Netherlands project MPH2 will officially launch on Tuesday, December 1, 2026. Metalot is the lead partner for this cross-border initiative, in which we—together with our partners—will develop and test the entire "Metal Power" hydrogen value chain. Join us for the kick-off and discover the potential of iron powder as a circular energy carrier.

Date & time
Tuesday, December 1, 2026
12:00 PM – 4:30 PM (lunch included)
Location
Green Energy Park
Z.1 Researchpark 160
1731 Zellik (Belgium)
In the MPH2 project, partners from Flanders and the Netherlands are collaborating to build a cross-border learning and testing environment for the complete value chain: from the reduction of iron oxide using green hydrogen, through the transport and storage of iron powder, to its combustion for high-temperature heat and electricity generation. In this context, iron powder serves as a safe, compact, and circular energy carrier—a CO₂-free solution that is particularly relevant for large-scale industrial users facing challenges such as grid congestion, the need for high-temperature processes, or limited access to hydrogen.
